John Samson

John Samson was born in 1941 to Colin and Lydia Samson. John was raised in Lanarkshire Scotland where he could be found spending all his time in the great outdoors, or helping his father in the family's Parakeet aviary.
John's talent was first recognized at the early age when he was asked to sit in front of an accomplished panel of Art professors, and produce a unique painting. At the close of the competition he was awarded with a scholarship to the world-renowned Glasgow School of Art, and the panel was astounded for at his interpretation of Jesus, the Good Shepherd.

He then went on to marry his lovely wife Linda and have two children David and Gillian and now has two grandchildren. John has an extensive background in commercial art, he is most known for a label design for William Younger's Beer. John also has had a successful career in engineering, spanning over more than four decades.Combine all three and an artistic style has emerged with a natural precision that is esthetically unique, and visually captivating.

John is dedicating his golden years to his passion of painting, and has been inspired by Glasgow's beautiful architecture and iconic scenes.

John Samson's works are displayed around the world in Private Estates, Homes, and in Commercial Businesses.
